Introduction
I am a Software Engineer based in Pakistan. My passion for software was already present at a young age starting from the world of micro-controllers and I decided to touch more of the hardware world which is why I pursued my bachelors in Electrical Engineering
I quickly gained an interest in technologies related to distributed systems such as containerization, orchestration and deployment methodologies which produced my interest in system design.
I am quickly learning more about DevOps and Backend System design to upskill myself and pursue my next challenge. I started my own homelab using old office PCs and a cloud VPS developing my skills in linux systems and deployment strategies.
I run a personal Git server using Gitea along with Gitea actions to learn proper CI/CD. Even this site was deployed using a CI/CD action!
This website was made as a Next JS app. After every git push it is containerized as a docker container and pushed to a VPS which has a Nginx deployment (also through docker) serving the site securely.
